<p>PURPOSE: To provide a simply constructed steering angle ratio variable device. CONSTITUTION: A steering main shaft 16 is coaxially connected to the first rotary member 22 of an Oldham's coupling 28. The second rotary member 24 is rotatably supported in a movable housing 32 which can be shifted in the direction crossing the shaft center of the second rotary member 24 at right angles. The third rotary member 26 of the Oldham's coupling 28 is rotatably and slidably inserted into a groove 50 of a projected part 48 formed on a steering rod 20 crossing the steering main shaft 16. When the amount of eccentricity H between the shaft center of the first rotary member 22 and the shaft center of the third rotary member 26 is changed, the amount of deflection of the third rotary member 26 at the time when a steering wheel is swung, is changed, and thus the stroke of the steering rod 20 engaged with the third rotary member 26 is changed.</p> |
