<p>A device (1) for correcting the amplitude/frequency characteristic of an input signal (FI) having minimum frequency f1, centre frequency f0 and maximum frequency f2, as well as an attenuation characteristic dependent on the frequency increase between f1 and f2. The correcting device (1) provides a corrected output signal (FI). Said correcting device comprises two cascaded filters (41, 42) of which the first receives the input signal (FI) and outputs a filtered signal (SFI) to the second filter, while the second filter provides the corrected output signal (FI). One of said filters is a band rejector filter (41) having centre frequency f3, where f3 is no higher than f1, and the other filter is a band-pass filter (42) having centre frequency f4, where f4 is no lower than f2. Centre frequencies f3 and f4 have the following relationship: f3 x f4 = f02. The filters (41, 42) are of the same order and their overvoltage coefficients are adjusted by a control signal (SC) from a control device (43). The correcting device is particularly suitable for signals from communication cables (40).</p> |
