The control device controls the volumetric flow between a hydraulic motor connection and a feedback connection (14) to a hydraulic reservoir via a main control element (28) and a pre-control element operated via a proportional magnet, for pre-control of the pressure within a pressure chamber (35) at the end of the main control element, to provide a sequence control. The main control element is spring-biased into its output position in which its valve cone (39) contacts a valve seat (41), with the pressure chamber vented via a control line (65) to the feedback connection.
