Heat-exchanger with parallel flat tubes

The ends (13) of the flat tubes (2) extend inside the manifolds (4,5) and pass through connectors (9,10), all being soldered together. The connectors are concave, curving so as to fit against the outside surfaces of the manifolds, which are of round section. Elongated holes are formed in the connectors at right angles to the manifold axes, being enclosed by spigots formed on the connectors. The spigots can protrude inside the manifolds via mating transverse elongated holes formed in the latter.
