The protective coating (11) has at least one component, which reacts with the decomposition products, to form at least one stable non-hygroscopic conversion product. At least one component of the protective coating is formed as a nanostructured material. The nanostructured material has a partial size of 10 nm to 50 nm, pref. with a particle size of 25nm. Al203 or MgO is provided as nanostructured material. An epoxy lacquer or a lacquer based on polyester, of acryl resin or of polyurethane is provided, as the base of the protective coating.
