PURPOSE: To discriminate a different type motor in-line without adding any devices to or bringing any devices into contact with the motor by a method wherein a voltage induced when the motor is made to rotate by an inertia after the no-load characteristics test of the motor is measured while the IC of a circuit built in the motor is in a non-operating state. CONSTITUTION: A voltage induced when a molded motor 1 with a tested built-in circuit is made to rotate by an inertia is measured by a measuring instrument 4 while the IC of the built-in circuit is put into a non-operating state by a power supply 3 for the circuit of the molded motor with the tested built-in circuit and the different type motor is discriminated in accordance with the magnitude of the measured value. With this constitution, the different type motor can be discriminated without adding any devices to or bringing any devices into contact with the motor. |
