PURPOSE: To produce a foam in the form of a long sheet which functions well as an unevenness-adjusting material for absorbing the unevenness of a floor when used as a floor substrate material and has excellent cushioning properties and a low initial compression strength. CONSTITUTION: A molded resin compsn. contg. a conjugated diene polymer having an absorption peak of tanδin the range of -20 deg.C to 40 deg.C (by dynamic viscoelasticity measurement) or its hydrogenation product is cross-linked by the exposure to an ionizing radiation and then thermally foamed.
