Locating and restraining device

The device to mount and restrain objects in a vehicle, esp. an estate vehicle, has a pair of slides (3) which are located parallel to each other in the vehicle and which extend horizontally. A frame (8) has at least two rollers (12,15) at its longitudinal edges, which contact in the slides (13). The frame can be moved from a position where it is fully inside the closed vehicle, to a position where it is at least partly outside of the vehicle. The frame has a plate fitted to it on which the objects are loaded, and also has a pair of pivoting legs which can be swung into a vertical position and locked.
