Storage system in which a guide channel (2) to receive the wheels of a bicycle (3) is fixed to a wall (1) along the entire length of the wall. A linear guide (4) is arranged parallel to and above the guide channel and a travelling carriage (5) is attached to the guide. The carriage has a retaining loop (7) for fixing round a tube on the bicycle frame. A trolley (9) is provided in the guide channel to carry the rear wheel of the bicycle.
