<p>An electrochemiluminescent (ECL) detection method for simultaneous assays. The method employs an excitation process whereby one or more luminophores are excited through an antenna mechanism using an oxidative or reductive coreactant. The luminophores can be lanthanide chelates and a persulfate system is used to generate ECL. The ECL emissions may be separated either by measuring at different emission wavelengths or by electrode potentials.</p> |
