PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To operate an IR signal, even when there is interference caused by a CFL by generating the IR signal, which is a coded signal modulated by a transmitter modulation signal, representing the detected coded signal while connecting a transmitter to a receiver and an oscillator. SOLUTION: An IR detector 20 operates as a switch for turning on/off a multivibrator 40. A transmitter 50 is constituted by combining transistors TR Q3 and Q4, resistors R5, R6, R7 and R8 and IR LED 55, and this combination operates as two stages of emitter followers. These two stages of emitter followers respond to the output of oscillator 40, and while modulated IR light is detected by an IR detector 202, the IR LED 55 is turned on/off at the frequency of 47 kHz. This IR LED 55 generates the coded IR optical signal modulated at the frequency of 47 kHz. The IR 202 operates as a signal gate 30 and controls the transmission of modulated signal from the oscillator 40 to a transmitter 50. |
