PURPOSE: To preform moving vector estimation of good precision nearby the border of a body by giving a 3rd array which is as large as a 1st and a 2nd array and has respective elements showing importance, and using the total of all elements of values, obtained by multiplying errors of respective elements between the 1st and 2nd arrays by the respective elements of the 3rd array, as an index. CONSTITUTION: A matching arithmetic process part 11 inputs 1st and 2nd images I1 and I2 including an object whose moving vector is to be found, a 3rd image I3 which indicates the object area of the 1st image I1 with a light and shade value, a proper number of templates which are arranged at the outline part of the object in the 1st image I1 , and search ranges which are arranged in the 2nd image I2 corresponding to the templates, and outputs the matching position in the 2nd image I2 which matches a templates most. Further, a moving vector arithmetic process part 12 inputs the position of the template and the matching position from the matching arithmetic process part 11 and outputs the moving vector of the template. |
