PURPOSE: To provide a photo-setting composite material compsn. excellent in storage stability and dimensional accuracy and certainly cured by photopolymerization by holding an unsaturated polyester resin, a fiber reinforcing material and a photopolymerization initiator between two heat-stretchable resin films to form the same into a sheet. CONSTITUTION: A sheet like photo-setting composite material compsn. with a thickness of 1-15mm is constituted by holding a resin compsn. consisting of an unsaturated polyester resin and/or a vinyl ester resin, a fiber reinforcing material and a photopolymerization initiator compsn. active within a wavelength region of 390-l200nm between two heat-stretchable resin films one of which is transparent within a wavelength region of 390nm or more. As one example, a sheet molding material is held and hermetically sealed by a heating mold 4 heated to 70 deg.C and an air pressure box 5 and compressed air of 3kgfG/cm<2> is sent into the box 5 by a compressed air supply mechanism 6 to bond the sheet molding material 1 to the heating mold 4 under pressure to shape the sampe.
