FIELD: hydrodynamic testing of models of navigation facilities in basins. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for testing models includes housing 1, boom 2 with cross rack 3 and rods 4, mechanisms for fastening and lifting model 5. Novelty is structure of mechanism for fastening model 5 being in the form of two flexible links 9, 10. Flexible link 9 has constant length. Length of flexible link 10 may be changed by means of electric winch 11, connected by reduction gear 12 with indicator 13 for displaying angles of model arrangement relative to flow direction. Said indicator has dial graduated according to scale equal to gear ratio of reduction gear 12. Usage of new members in apparatus for testing models allows to place model by necessary angle relative to flow direction. That provides time period of model testing reduced by 1.4 times in comparison with it in wall known apparatuses. EFFECT: improved design, reduced testing time period. |
