PURPOSE: To provide the method and the device in which high quality repeated waveforms are rapidly and simply formed. CONSTITUTION: The device consists of an address computer 1 which computes the addresses of two waveforms that are to be cross faded, a correlation coefficient computer 2 which computes the correlation coefficients of the two waveforms, a peak detector 3 which detects the peaks of the computed correlation coefficients, a selector 4 which selects the generation conditions of the prescribed number of waveforms in the order of higher correlation degrees from the output of the detector 3 and a loop processor 5 which generates prescribed number of cross faded loops based on the selected generation conditions. |
