PURPOSE: To provide an image recorder in which a mechanical plotting timing control mechanism is not provided and image distortion is lessened. CONSTITUTION: Thirty two exposing elements B0 to B31 are divided into four groups respectively having eight exposing elements and the plotting timing is hastened as the groups becomes different in a sub-scanning direction. Thus, the figure distortion of a recorded image can be reduced without requiring the mechanical plotting timing control mechanism, and adjustment for changing a plotting beam diameter, and duplicating magnification of the recorded image, etc., can be facilitated. |
