The present invention relates to a method for detecting and/or quantifying ligands specific to a pathology such as pathologies associated to an allergic or autoimmune réaction and lung cancer, and which are present in a body fluid of a patient, characterized in that a sample of body fluid is taken from the patient; the ligands present in the sample are reacted in a competitive test with other discriminatable ligands, the latter reacting with at least one antigenic structure specific to said pathology; and the inhibition of the reaction between the discriminatable ligands and the antigenic structures specific to the pathology is detected and/or quantified by the ligands present in the sample.
