PURPOSE: To provide an interaction support device which speeds up and facilitates the mutual understanding in conversation with a foreigner with a simple constitution. CONSTITUTION: An input/display means 1 which is provided with a display screen displaying various information and inputs/displays a character string by depressing the screen, a character recognition means 2 which character- recognizes a character string inputted by the input/display means 1 and converts it into a text, a fixed-form question sentence storage means 5 storing various fixed-form question sentences for respective languages so that they can be retrieved, a retrieval means 6 retrieving the corresponding fixed-form question sentence of the same language from the fixed-form question sentence storage means 5 based on a retrieval word when recognized input is the retrieval word, a question sentence editing means 8 editing the retrieved fixed-form question sentence based on the retrieval word and a display control means 10 displaying the edited question sentence on the input/display means 1 are provided. |
