The volute pump has a pump casing in which a cargo oil pump room is provided. A blower impeller is comprised rotatably in the room. A drip part (1D) protrudes inside a pump body (1). The drip part is adjacent to the periphery of the blower impeller. A pointed edge (1D-1) of the drip part diagonally stands up according to the rotation direction of the blower impeller.
