A golf putter includes a ball-and-socket joint interconnecting the head 10 and shaft 11. The ball 15 is fixed to the head and the socket 12 is formed at one end of shaft 11. The socket includes a sleeve member 22 which may be turned relative to the shaft to cause the ball to move into tight engagement with a plastics bearing member 14 located within the sleeve. |
