INTER-ORBITAL TOWING VEHICLE

FIELD: inter-orbital towing vehicles. SUBSTANCE: inter-orbital towing vehicle is characterized by considerable mass of payload and compact arrangement of main units. Inter-orbital towing vehicle has torus-shaped unit of main units. Inter-orbital towing vehicle has torus-shaped unit of main tank with rocket engine located in inner axial opening; additional torus-shaped tanks are mounted coaxially relative to it. Innovation of invention consists in arrangement of additional tanks which are mounted in succession with main tank unit below exit section of engine nozzle. Interorbital towing vehicle is provided with heat-insulating gas-tight casing with side wall located inside axial opening of additional tanks. One end of side wall of casing is open and other end is blind; rocket engine is located inside casing. Additional tanks may be fastened together by means of two circular spacers located concentrically relative to each other; one circular spacer is connected with outer equatorial bands of additional tanks and other spacer is connected with inner equatorial bands. Mass of payload is increased by 5 to 10 percent in case of placing in geostationary orbit. EFFECT: enhanced reliability.
