<p>PURPOSE: To prevent damage by slippage of a friction gearing speed increaser by controlling a pitch angle of a vane in the direction where a slip factor becomes smaller in accordance with the slip factor of a friction type clutch provided between the friction gearing speed increaser and a generator and transmission torque of which is controlled by a pressing force adjusting device. CONSTITUTION: A friction type clutch 7 free to control transmission torque is provided between a friction gearing speed increaser 2 and a generator 3. Control of a pitch angle is carried out by finding the proper pitch angle of a vane 1 from a slide factor of the friction gearing speed increaser 2 and the friction type clutch 7 found from three numbers of rotation of the vane 1 and intermediate shafts 5, 6 and output of the generator 3 by a computing element 19. In the case when excessive load torque is generated, the slip factor of the friction gearing speed increaser 2 reaches a set value and slippage is caused on the friction type clutch 7, the pitch angle of the vane 1 is controlled so as to lower the slide factor. Consequently, the slide factor of the friction gearing speed increaser 2 becomes lower than set, and it is possible to prevent damage due to slippage.</p> |
