摘要 <p>PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of an overspeed and an engine stop by a method wherein by means of a signal by which a manual shift means is positioned in one of intermediates of the stroke and a car speed signal, the number of revolutions of the input shaft of a gear shift device is computed, and when the prediction number of revolutions is below the set maximum number of revolutions, a clutch means is disengaged and when it exceeds the set maximum number of revolutions, the clutch means is engaged. CONSTITUTION: When, during high speed running, shifting to a low speed having a high gear ratio is effected by a manual shift means 76, positioning in an intermediate position corresponding to the speed is carried out once. A control means U4 computes the number of revolutions of the input shaft of the gear shift device from a car speed and the shift stage, and when the prediction number of revolutions exceeds a maximum value, a clutch engagement signal or a clutch disengagement holding signal is transmitted. This operation blocks shift operation to the speed and prevents transmission of a power at the speed. When, during low speed running, shift to a speed having a low gear ratio, when the prediction number of revolutions is lower than a minimum value, a clutch engagement signal or a clutch disengagement holding signal is transmitted, shift operation to a speed is blocked and transmission of a power at the speed is prevented. This constitution prevents the occurrence of overspeed and an engine stop.</p>
