PURPOSE: To improve baking performance in a lower burner for both-surface baking grill by a method wherein a pair of main burners, whose flame port units are slanted downward by predetermined angles, are provided opposingly and the pair of main burners are connected to a fire shifting burner at the base ends thereof to form integrally a U-shape as a whole. CONSTITUTION: A grill burner is a press burner, in which a pair of opposing main burners A, A and a fire shifting burner B are integrated so as to have a U-shape, while the flame port units 1 of respective main burners A are slanted downward by predetermined anglesθand are provided so that the heat of the burners arrives at the central part of a matter to be cooked. A mixing tube 3 is provided in parallel to the fire shifting burner B at the rear side of the same while mixed gas is distributed and supplied to respective opposing main burners A and the fire shifting burner B uniformly from the mixing tube 3. The flame port units 1 of the main burners A are constituted of flame ports 1a, to which the mixed gas is supplied through a passage 8, and flame ports 1b, to which the mixed gas is supplied directly without passing through the passage 8, whereby the combustion efficiency of the burner is improved.
