PURPOSE: To make it difficult for a detection to be influenced by a difference in noise level by door and environment, reduce the detecting load of nipping of a window glass, and improve the detecting precision. CONSTITUTION: The CPU 16 of a power window regulator circuit 10 calculates the differential value in nipping detecting range of a current I carried to a shunt resistance SR when a window glass raising and lowering motor 12 is operated, and compares the differential value with a preliminarily stored differential characteristic detecting level reference value to detect the nipping of a window glass. The ripple current value carried to the shunt resistance SR is also detected, the maximum value of the detected ripple current value is stored in a nonvolatile memory 24, and this maximum value of ripple current is subjected to a prescribed operation to calculate a correction value, and this correction value is added to the maximum value of the differential characteristic detecting level reference value to provide a differential characteristic detecting level reference value for the next time. |
