<p>PURPOSE: To provide a corrugated board box which can be hung and carried with one hand when an ultimate consumer buys cans of beer packed in the box and which can be torn along the sores of its side for the purpose of displaying the cans of bear, allowing the ultimate consumer to buy any number he wants. CONSTITUTION: A corrugated board box 19 is a hexahedron, and at least each of its two sides, C and D, opposite each other has two tearing-scores 1 which are parallel to each other. A pair of holes 4 is made on at least one side C of two side C and D for holding the box with hand. A reinforcement tape 6 is stuck to the rear of the side C having the hole 4. The width of the tape 6 is greater than a distance between the two tearing-scores 1, and it is stuck into such a position as to cover the two scores 1. The ratio of the lengthwise tensile strength to the widthwise tensile strength of the reinforcement tape 6 is 3 or greater.</p> |
