PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector for communications wherein diagnosis of lines is possible, wiring by a user is possible, and reliability is high. SOLUTION: This connector is equipped with a cover plate assembly 40, an intermediate unit 41, and a rear part plate 52. The intermediate unit 41 has a diagnosis circuit, an assembly 42 of connection means, and one or more contact assemblies, and one or more substantially same contact elements 70, and the contact elements extend between respective elements of the intermediate unit and connect the respective elements with each other. This connector is designed so as to be able to utilize the substantially same contacts 70. |
