Anticorrosive aqueous phase coating compositions with a basic pH are described, which essentially contain one or more film-forming binders in the form of an aqueous dispersion of an acrylic polymer, resulting, after a drying and/or curing step, in the formation of a hydrophobic film; one or more anticorrosive pigments forming, with iron (II) and iron (III) ions, compounds which are practically or completely water-insoluble; one or more corrosion inhibitors; one or more dispersants; one or more antifoaming agents; one or more coalescence agents; and, optionally, other additives.
