VEHICLE AIRBAG

A vehicle airbag system in which an airbag (1, 41) is arranged to fit around a helmet (6) either permanently or detachably with preferably a releasable conduit in the form of flexible hose (18) which extends from the rear of the bag to a source (22) of gas which is preferably in a part (20) of the vehicle. The system improves drive ability after airbag inflation and is especially suitable for racing vehicles.
