Modular dry wall construction block

The modular building blocks (10) are designed to interlock, so that a wall may be built without using mortar. There are lugs (5) formed on the bottom of each block, which can fit in corresponding wide grooves (4) in the top of the block or blocks on which it rests. Sideways sliding of the blocks is thus resisted. There are narrow V-shaped grooves in the top and bottom surfaces of the blocks breaking of the blocks to given modular sizes. The moulded sides of the blocks are smooth and the broken surfaces are rough. There is a standard modular horizontal dimension (l1) and a standard modular vertical dimension (l2).
