Tilting of headlamp on security vehicle

Between the front and rear portions of a security vehicle is a Bowden cable to alter the tilt of a headlamp. For the tilt about a horizonal axis(938) there is a lever (937) pointing downwards, pivoted to a thrust rod (934) at right angles to it. The rear of the rod is linked to a stud (932) within a housing and borne upon by a compression spring (933). The rear of the stud is fastened to the Bowden cable(929). The rear of the cable is attached to one of the two arms of a lever(928) in a housing (925), the other arm of the lever being pressed (by the spring pressure) against the shoulder of a sliding rod (927) in the housing.
