PURPOSE: To realize an electroluminescence element wherein well-known coumarin based laser dyestuff is used and blue light is emitted with excellent characteristics. CONSTITUTION: This element has lamination structure of organic material including a light emitting layer composed of a thin film of organic material. The light emitting layer is an amorphous type thin film composed of mixture of a plurality of coumarin based laser dyes of different kind. The center wavelength of fluorescence is at most 480nm. In the light emitting layer, coumarin 450 is included, which is desirably made the luminescence center. |
