FILTER FOR AIR PURIFICATION

PURPOSE: To reduce air passage resistance and to improve capture efficiency by forming more than one passage hole for passing air through a filter base material and generating a turbulent current in passing air by raising part of a plane between the passage holes on the surface side or on the back side. CONSTITUTION: Adsorbents having particular adsorption functions for different substances are flocked electrically or applied on the surfaces of filter base materials 1, and the base materials 1 are combined to constitute an air passage with the surface made a passage wall surface, and the base material 1 is made from a flexible material which can be regenerated or burned. The base material 1 is a member having a great number of opened through holes 3, and a projection part 9 is formed on the surface in order to keep the shape and to generate a turbulent current of passing air. The total ventilation area of the holes 3 of the base material 1 is made 15-35% of the projected area in the passage direction in the area in which the base material 1 contacts passing air.
