PURPOSE: To obtain an excellent initial writing performance by preventing drying of coating liquid or ink at the periphery of a ball without dropping the ball even by the impact force of the ball dropped on a floor in a nib structure with the ball used as a writing medium for a ballpoint pen using an eraser coating applicator and intermediate and low viscosity ink or thixotropic ink. CONSTITUTION: The elastic member 4 of a nib 1 so formed that the ball 3 held by the end hole 2d of a holder 2 by caulking the opening edge and disposed with the member 4 in the inner hole 2a of the holder 2 is always pushed in contact with the holder end caulked inner wall 2b is formed at the end integrally with the elastic part 4a by using soft elastic resin material and formed integrally by providing the fixed part 4b at the rear end side from its center, the end of the part 4a is brought into contact with the ball, and further the part 4b is engaged within the inner hole 2a of the holder 2. |
