A refrigerating appliance comprises a plurality of preformed insulating panels (10; 11; 12) which are incorporated into a cabinet structure of the appliance, one or more of the preformed insulating panels (10; 11; 12) having a heat exchanger (6; 3; 5) attached or formed therewith as a sub-assembly module for subsequent incorporation in the cabinet structure and connection to the refrigerating circuit of the appliance.
