Helium is adsorbed from a gas mixture containing helium and nitrogen or methane by passing the gas mixture through an adsorbent having pore apertures less than about 0.32 nm in diameter, at a temperature in the range of about 20 to 200 DEG C. The adsorption process is preferably pressure swing adsorption. |
