PURPOSE: To manufacture the flux cored seamless wire for the welding which is not broken while it is rolled or drawn by specifying the composition of the flux to be filled containing iron powder to improve the flowability. CONSTITUTION: The flux is fed to a tubular body 1 while a metallic strip is formed to the tubular body 1 so that the ferromagnetic raw material powder flux F, containing >=6wt.% iron powder whose granularity is <=125μm and the lubricant which is 0.03-0.20% of the iron powder content forms the lower layer, and the weak magnetic raw material powder flux F1 forms the upper layer. Both edge faces of the tubular body 1 are joined by the high frequency welding, and the welded tube in which the flux is filled is contracted to manufacture the flux cored seamless wire for the welding. During the contraction, the iron powder in the flux is uniformly diffused to improve the flowability of the flux. The flux particles of the ferromagnetic composition such as iron powder are not sintered, and do not becomes a lump. The outer shell of the tube is not locally reduced in thickness during the contraction, and no breakage is generated.
