<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize a basic assembly plant of general type by storing a feeding device for mounting components in a free space produced between assembly lines by the classification and arrangement of assembly line transfer loops. SOLUTION: An automatic feeding device 23 is installed between each of independent assembly shops 2, 2' and a central component warehouse and between each of the independent assembly shops 2, 2' and a main assembly line 3. By this, a work station for the main assembly line 3 which requires related vehicle parts or individual components can be connected to a distribution component warehouse to supply materials. An individual transfer loop 8 of the main assembly line 3 is directed radially from the center of an assembly plant and disposed so as to form free spaces 25, 25' open between the loops 8 adjacent to each other. The independent assembly shops, central component warehouse and distribution ware houses 21, 22 are stored in the free spaces 25, 25' near the main assembly shops 2, 2'.</p> |
