<p>PURPOSE: To obtain an inorganic composition having high hydrophobic nature of a hardened material, capable of maintaining external appearance even in coming into contact with water and to improve the strength of the inorganic composition, comprising SiO2 -Al2 O3 -based inorganic powder, an alkali metal silicate, water and silicone rubber powder. CONSTITUTION: This inorganic composition is obtained by blending an aqueous solution prepared by dissolving 100 pts.wt. of SiO2 -Al2 O3 -based inorganic powder comprising 5-85wt.% of SiO2 and 90-10wt.% of Al2 O3 such as fly ash and 0.2-450 pts.wt. of an alkali metal silicate of the formula, nSiO2 /M2 O (M is one or more of metals K, Na and Li; (n) is 0.05-8) in 35-1,500 pts.wt. of water with 0.05-60 pts.wt. of silicon rubber powder of a cross-linked material of an organopolysiloxane of high polymerization degree having 0.5-1,000μm particle diameter and optionally a blowing agent, a blowing auxiliary, an inorganic filler and a reinforcing fiber into a pasty state. The composition is formed by casting, press molding, extrusion molding, etc., and hardened.</p> |
