PURPOSE: To perform conversion from one code system wherein character codes are prepared corresponding to all characters one to one to another code system where a character of a different font can be specified by adding proper control codes to character codes. CONSTITUTION: Input data 102 consists of character codes corresponding to respective characters one to one and information showing their code system. A code conversion processing means 101 outputs the character codes of the code system of this device and character attribute information in character unit by using the code conversion table 103 corresponding to the code system. A code sequence generating means 105 generates a code sequence into which control codes showing information of half size, full size, longitudinal writing, etc., are inserted at places set or charged to characters represented with the character attribute information, and a print output means 107 outputs an image signal showing images of those characters. |
