<p>PURPOSE: To obtain a cassette tape player with which the gentle driving of a cassette transfer mechanism and a mode selection lever is possible and the miniaturization of a driving mechanism is possible. CONSTITUTION: The movement of a mode selection lever 65 is prohibited by a locking lever 63, by which the revolution of this sub-motor 3 is outputted from a carrier at the time of loading or ejection operation of a tape cassette. The sliding plate of the cassette transfer mechanism is then moved via a first rack meshed with the gear of this carrier, by which an auto-loading or auto- ejection operation is executed. The revolution of the sub-motor 3 is outputted from a ring gear and a second rack 65a meshed with the external tooth part of this ring gear is driven, by which the locking lever 63 is turned at the time of mode selection, such as FF and reproduction. Consequently, the movement of the block body having the first rack is prohibited by the locking lever 63 and the mode selection lever 65 is moved to a desired operation mode position by the revolution of the sub-motor 3.</p> |
