PIPERIDINOPENTANAMINES, PROCESS FOR PRODUCING THEM AND THEIR USE AS A CATALYST FOR PRODUCING URETHANES

Methyl-5-(3-methyl piperidino)pentanamines of general formula (I) in which one of the two radicals R<1>, R<2> is hydrogen and the other methyl, are produced by two-stage hydrogenation from 2-methyl glutaronitrile. The compounds are suitable as catalysts in the production of polyurethanes.
