PURPOSE: To provide an excellent laser probe device used for laser beam treatment in which output loss is less and an optical fiber hardly receives overheat damages. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with an optical cable 11 assembled with the optical fiber 1, a hand piece 12 for housing the optical cable 11, a tip chip 13 attached to the tip of the hand piece 12 and a lens 7 attached in the inside of the hand piece 12. Thus, since laser beams emitted from the tip surface of the optical fiber 1 are passed through the lens 7 and made incident on the tip chip 13 at a shallow angle close to parallel light, the number of times of the reflection of the laser beams on the inner surface of the tip chip 13 is reduced and the output loss is reduced. Also, since the position of the optical cable 11 is separated far from the tip chip 13, the damages by the overheat of the optical fiber 1 are reduced. |
