FIELD: electric drives of industrial mechanisms whose working element can set it either in two independent movements or in joint linear and rotary motion; laser welding of pipelines under field conditions. SUBSTANCE: motor has passive ring-shaped structure rigidly coupled with unwound secondary part of linear motor module and rotary motor module. Primary part of linear-motor module is free to move relative to unwound secondary part. Passive ring-shaped structure, rotary-motor module, and primary part of linear-motor module are provided with supporting and fixing assemblies. Such design enables sequential displacement of primary and secondary motor structures by means of supporting and locking assemblies. The latter contact fixed surfaces of pipes.
