The surface-mounted miniature coaxial switch connector comprises a hollow body (1) from which at least two contact tongues (2, 3) project. A plunger (5) made of electrically insulating material is mounted so as to be axially movable inside the hollow body (1) and bears at one end an electrical end contact element (6). The plunger (5) is moved by return means into a first position in which the end contact element (6) projects at one end of the hollow body (1) and electrical contact is established between the two contact tongues (2, 3). The plunger (5) can move against the action of the return means into a second position in which the electrical end contact element (6) is moved away from this end of the hollow body (1) and is in electrical contact with one (2) of the two contact tongues (2, 3), and the two tongues (2, 3) are electrically insulated from each other.
