<p>PURPOSE: To improve productivity and to reduce cost by providing a coke packing layer provided with a packing layer tuyere on the downstream side of an iron tapping and slag discharging hole and a skimmer on the downstream side of the coke packing layer. CONSTITUTION: In a cylindrical furnace, a furnace top hole (opening part) 2 for exhausting gas and charging scrap, iron ore and coke at the upper part, a primary tuyere 3, at the furnace wall lower part, a secondary tuyere 4 of single step of plural steps above the primary tuyere, the iron tapping and slag discharging hole 5, the coke packing layer 13 having a tuyere 6 at the lower part and the skimmer 11 are provided. The coke and auxiliary raw material are charged from the furnace top hole 2 and a coke packing layer 7-2 is formed from the furnace bottom to the level of the primary tuyeres 3 and iron and coke packing layers 8-1, 7-3, 8-2, 7-4 and scrap packing layer 8-3 are formed alternately thereon. Combustion assisting gas and fuel are blown respectively from the primary tuyere 3 and the secondary tuyere 4 to produce molten iron 9. The molten iron 23 is separated from molten slag 21 by the skimmer 11. Thus, the iron-making rich in flexibility can be executed.</p> |
