The safety device for vehicle doors is comprised of means coupled to the doors themselves in order to delay the possibility of opening of the doors, said means operating in combination with sensors based on the radar technique which detect another vehicle coming closer with risk of collision. The device is comprised of warning elements for the occupants of the vehicle, said warning elements being activated during the delay time determined by the device, and light warning elements for the persons being outside the vehicle. The device is intended to avoid accidents due to the rapid opening of the doors nearby other running vehicles. |
