PURPOSE:To provide a microscope which causes light at various angles to fall on an object being captured by employing a plurality of light emission elements for the light source, and which prevents inconsistencies, in brightness, of the reflected light at the edge as well as the center of the object, and which can eliminate erroneous recognition and positioning by producing a uniform illumination. CONSTITUTION:A light receiving surface 21 of a television camera 2 is positioned at the image surface of the main body of a microscope 1, and the bright-field or dark-field illumination of the object being captured is effected. Video signals of the television camera 2 are displayed on a display monitor for visualization, or undergo image processing. In such a microscope, a plurality of light emission elements 31 are employed for the light source 3 which illuminates the object 5. |
