PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contain multiple host computers where a computer system in a distributed object programming development environment provides service for a client on a network by internally stored servers. SOLUTION: A client 105 can utilize various types of configuration information about several servers by a permanent server manager 203. The manager 203 is an object that contains such information about a separated server 201. The manager 203 can stores such information as start execution definition, retention program definition, object interface and implement, acquisition and logging configuration data. By having durability and being external for the server 201, the manager 203 can operate and decide the information about the server 201 at the request of the client 105 without starting the server 201, by which facilitates system management.
