PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the required force to make or break electrical connection through an electric connector by separately arranging a device for holding the connector in the connecting position. SOLUTION: An electrical connector 1 in its connecting state is symmetrical about contact parts as center on a module printed board 3. The connector includes middle parts 13a and 13b, which are formed with an arbitrary number of grooves as channels 14. The channels 14 are each provided with a connection element 15 for bringing the printed board 3 into contact with a back wall printed board 2 for their electrical connections. The connection member 15 has two holding pieces 16a and 16b. The electrical connection between the back wall printed board 2 and the module printed board 3, and that between the board 3 and the connector 1 are made by the pressing of the connector elements onto contacts 21 and 31 on the respective boards. |
